Since 1994, WJJY staff members have thrown themselves into the annual Radiothon effort with enthusiasm. WJJY was honored in 2001 and 2003 by the National Association of Broadcasters with the Crystal Award for outstanding community service. This prestigious award is given annually to only ten radio stations out of nearly 14,000 stations in the United States. We like to think that our listeners share in the Crystal Award because of your support for WJJY's community service initiatives, especially the Radiothon to End Child Abuse.
